Sabrina Ionescu is a guard for the WNBA’s New York Liberty and an advocate for universal access to physical activity for youth across the world. Before joining the Liberty, Sabrina played basketball for the University of Oregon Ducks where she was unanimously voted the 2020 AP Women’s Basketball Player of the Year. She is also the only player, male or female, in NCAA history with 2,000 career points (2,562), 1,000 career rebounds (1,040) and 1,000 career assists (1,091).

During the 2023 WNBA season, Sabrina was named to her second WNBA All-Star Team, earned a spot on 2nd Team All-WNBA, and shocked the world when she scored 37 out of a possible 40 points, making her the all time 3 point champion across both the NBA and WNBA. In addition to these remarkable individual accomplishments, Sabrina saw great team success as the New York Liberty won the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup and the WNBA Eastern Conference Finals. Finally, in February of 2024, Sabrina was among 12 players named to the Team USA Olympic Qualifying Tournament Team as she prepares for her pursuit of a gold medal in Paris this Summer.

SI20 Foundation 

The SI20 Foundation’s mission is to equip youth from all backgrounds and skill levels with equitable access to sports that create genuine connections and build stronger communities for life. Using sports as the hook, the SI20 Foundation will work with strategic partners to set youth up for success by implementing life and social elements into its programming focusing on peer relationship building, developing leadership skills, practicing goal setting, and creating an impact on the community.
