SOCIAL MEDIA

Sabrina Ionescu is a WNBA Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, and four-time All-Star from Walnut Creek, California, currently playing for the New York Liberty. Selected No. 1 overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft – the first #1 pick in franchise history – she joined the Liberty following a record-setting career at the University of Oregon, where she became the only player in NCAA basketball history, men’s or women’s, to surpass 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 1,000 assists.

Since entering the league, Ionescu has established herself as one of the game’s most impactful players, helping lead New York to its first-ever WNBA Championship in 2024. She is also a four-time All-WNBA selection and a two-time WNBA Three-Point Contest champion, including a historic performance that set the all-time scoring record across both the NBA and WNBA. On the international stage, she captured Olympic gold with Team USA at the Paris 2024 Games.

Beyond the court, Sabrina is one of the most marketable athletes in basketball, partnering with global brands including Nike, AT&T, Fanatics, Michelob Ultra, Away, and Ant International. She is a part owner and Commercial Advisor for Bay FC (NWSL) and serves on the league’s first-ever Business Advisory Board, helping drive new commercial opportunities and expand the overall reach of the NWSL. She also serves as Chief Athlete Officer at Division Street, the NIL collective for her alma mater, the University of Oregon.

In 2023, Sabrina made history with Nike as the brand’s first female athlete to launch a unisex signature basketball shoe. The Sabrina line has become a global success, with the Sabrina 2 ranking as the second-most worn sneaker in the NBA last season. She recently launched the Sabrina 3 during a global tour across the Philippines and Greater China, with the shoe appearing prominently throughout the current NBA season on athletes including Stephen Curry and Tyler Herro.

Through her SI20 Foundation, Sabrina provides equitable access to sports for underserved youth in New York City, the Bay Area, and Oregon—often in partnership with the brands she represents. A defining face of the modern WNBA, she continues to set the standard at the intersection of elite performance, global business, and meaningful social impact.

During the 2022 WNBA season, Sabrina was voted to the AP All-WNBA First team, named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month twice, and won the 2022 WNBA Skills Challenge. Additionally, she tallied the league’s first-ever triple-double in less than three quarters and the first-ever 30-plus point triple-double. Currently in her fourth WNBA Season, Sabrina was named an All-Star for the second time in her career, and set the internet on fire with her record-setting Three-Point Competition scoring 37 out of a possible 40 points, propelling her further into the national spotlight.
